The British brand Wileyfox has today brought to Spain two midrange terminals, the Swift 2 and Swift 2 Plus, which have many characteristics in common and only a few differences. Unlike that other manufacturers, who sell their terminals without exclusives, Wileyfox opted for Simyo and Amena as exclusive operators.
Prices of both terminals are within the acceptable, surpassing almost €200 in the case of the Swift 2 Plus. However, the more differential point of this pair of smartphones is located in your software, because it comes from the factory with CyanogenOS 13.1, basanda Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Is becoming more difficult to find terminals with this system, but there are still brave.
A hardware that tries to be at the height of the middle range
Entering a market with so much competition as it is the middle range is really hard, and be original while maintaining relatively low prices is more complicated still. Luckily for potential buyers, Wileyfox has opted for a hardware which, although humble, is the most recent.
Both terminals are destined to a public who likes having a content size screen, as they can be 5 inch the Swift brothers 2. The resolution, however, is not the highest, staying in HD, that is not a mana figure. The first differences are to be found in the RAM memory, being of 2 GB for the 2 and 3 GB Swift for Swift 2 Plus.
Another difference is in storage, being of 16 GB and 32 GB for the 2 Swift and Swift 2 Plus, respectively, and that It can be expanded with cards microSD up to 64 GB. In both terminals we find ourselves with the same processor, a Snapdragon 430 that is responsible for giving life to the terminals.
Also they are twins in relation to the battery, as both bring a stack of 2,700 mAh admitting the quick charging of Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. In terms of software, as we have already mentioned, comes standard with CyanogenOS 13.1, based on Android Marshmallow, being almost the only manufacturer with value to use this software.

Do these two terminals offer something different?
No doubt, both the Swift 2 Plus and Wileyfox Swift 2 they have prices that we could consider appropriate for specifications that bring, but have to deal with a more saturated range average at this point in the year, where we see more interesting proposals and others that are not worthy of considering.
To this we add that, at least in Spain, is the sale of this pair of smartphones exclusively in Amena and Simyo, quite what reduces the possibility of finding an interested buyer. We don’t know if it’s something temporary (as often happens in some manufacturers) or final.
If you are a customer of any of the mentioned operators and curious by CyanogenOS, This is probably one of the last opportunities you’ll have in stuff this operating system, well today is missing. They are certainly interesting, but the relative difficulty of buying them ends up hurting these terminals.
