Apple Returns to Trust Samsung as a Main Supplier of Screens for The IPad
The relationship between Apple and Samsung is like the Romulus and Remus. Together they are creating a great Empire but the two have so much envy and respect who are trying to annihilate (in the competitive sense of the word) day if day also. However, as the two brothers who founded Rome according to legend are needed one to the other and it shows with their decisions. The latest comes from Cupertino since back to Samsung as a supplier of screens for the iPad.
Specifying numbers, Apple has decided to make Samsung which carry the 62% of the production of iPad screens, providing Cupertino more than 5.2 million screens of 9.7-inch resolution 2, 048 × 1, 536. This increase of production, going back to was in 2012, left in second place to LG, which was the maximum supplier of screens for the device until a few months ago.
There is no explanation official (or extra-oficial) for this change. It can be part of an agreement with Samsung to manufacture new components devices which are to come, or simply that did not convince them the delivery times and quality which gave them LG so far. Whatever it is, not should we care about the quality of the screens produced, since Samsung is one of the best manufacturers of this hardware that is right now in the world.
