The next high-end smartphone from Sony could already reside in Germany for testing purposes. A device which may be a Xperia Z3 has been tested already in the mid of the month by the TÜV Rheinland, PhoneArena reported, citing the Japanese blog of mobile.
It is clear that the German testing laboratory has tested among other things, a device with the model number PM-0800-BV (D6603) for a CB certificate. The Xperia Z2 model numbers with D65xx – the D66xx might be a direct successor. The CB certificate is a European standard certification for electronic devices and issued by various bodies.
Faster Product Cycle At Sony
That Sony throws a Xperia Z3 so soon after the Z2 on the market, would not surprise with song lyrics: between the Xperia Z1 and his successor was only half a year. According to rumors the Xperia Z3 will be advertised in September. In addition to the rumors of the next Sony flagship relevant sources also speak of a compact version, which might seem to RAM a smaller display with low resolution, but with 3 GB.
Anyway, it is certain that a new Sony Smartphone by the test laboratory has been of TÜV Rheinland. Know which device or what devices they exactly are, only Sony and the TÜV test engineers.
